After more than ten years of photographing people, we’ve learned that confidence doesn’t come from the image alone. It comes from the experience of doing something slightly uncomfortable, and realising you’re more capable than you thought.
That’s where photographs move from “that’s a nice picture” to “I can’t believe that’s me”.
From the very first interaction, we take time to understand what might be getting in the way of feeling comfortable in front of a camera. When it’s helpful, we’ll talk through how that can shift, both during the session and beyond it.
Most people we work with arrive feeling unsure of how to pose, how to stand, or how to be themselves in front of a lens. That’s normal. It’s also something we address gently, at your pace, throughout the process.
The goal isn’t to perform confidence. It’s to build it.

The truth is that NOBODY knows how to pose, yet EVERYBODY expects they should know how to!
It’s our job to guide to you through the entire process so you’re looking (and feeling) your best! Whilst we offer lingerie photography, our body confidence shoots are all about acceptance, love and celebration of your body, whatever your shape and size.
However, it’s important for you to keep in mind that this kind of shoot may not be for you if you’re expecting lots of Photoshop to adapt how you look. Whilst we will make minor changes (such as spots and bruises), at You at Yours we don’t use Photoshop, as using it would conflict with our goal of getting you to accept, love and celebrate your true self - not an altered version.

Also, because of the nature of boudoir photography work, it’s essential that all parties feel comfortable before proceeding - plus, it makes the experience far more enjoyable when a rapport is established.

Absolutely. We offer interest-free payment plans spread over 3 or 6 months with no credit checks required. You'll pay a deposit to secure your booking, and the remaining balance is divided into equal monthly payments. We can discuss this during your Onboarding Call.

Yes, we want to celebrate you - not you wearing the same thing as 500 other people haha During your planning session, we'll discuss what to pack and how to prepare for the session. We recommend bringing 3-5 different looks, but there's no pressure to invest in anything new or expensive - sometimes simple is best!

Hair and makeup services aren't included in our standard session fee but can be arranged for an additional cost. Many clients prefer to do their own makeup for a more natural look, and we provide detailed guidance on how to prepare. If you'd like professional styling, we work with talented artists who understand our natural, authentic approach. We can discuss during your Confidence Call.

Life happens! We understand that circumstances change. You can reschedule your session up to 14 days before your appointment without any penalty. Changes made with less than 14 days' notice may incur a small rescheduling fee to cover our scheduling costs.

Absolutely not - unless you explicitly give us permission. Your privacy is our top priority. During your reveal session, we'll discuss which photos (if any) you're comfortable sharing. Many clients do choose to allow us to share their images because they're proud of the results, but this is completely optional and always your choice.

The photoshoot itself typically lasts 1.5 hours. Your planning session usually takes 30 minutes, and the photo reveal session about an hour. From start to finish, most clients complete their journey with us over the course of 2-3 weeks, though we can accommodate faster timelines for special circumstances.
